They came for Johannesburg. The outer walls were all that might've saved the city, or at least, would've bought us more time. Their artillery shelled the walls and outer skyscrapers constantly. Melted glass, concrete, and steel rained on us all below. But still we stood. We would not be expelled from our home like we had been before. This was our land.
